Emails sent from particular senders e.g. G-Shock, LinkedIn and other senders who provide a more ‘colourful / graphic’ email appearance that may contain pictures etc, have an issue whereby the content does not fully load on the mobile screen, partially load or in some cases eventually loads but can be very slow (minutes). To rule out connectivity issues, this occurs regardless where I am and regardless if on WiFi or mobile/celluar data. If I switch across to an alternative app (Maildroid, Samsung Email etc) the content loads fine, every time and very quickly, so it is clearly something on the eM Client mobile app that is not handling these emails very well. My mobile is a Samsung Galaxy S20 5G and the issue occurs on other mobiles as well. All mobiles are running the latest operating system and the eM Client app is also running the latest version.
On a separate note, can we have the option to adjust the font size, as some emails can be very difficult to read, unlike alternative apps which provide the option to adjust font size without the email content disappearing off the page.
That can sometimes happen where the senders email might be using some eg: non standard html email code so the mobile app then won’t display it or has trouble displaying it.
eg: There is another user where they had LinkedIn emails which don’t display and that is due to the way LinkedIn code the sent emails where eM Client will need to see if they can accommodate them as @Gary advised in his post in the following thread. So could be a similar issue with your linked and G-Shock emails. You would more than likely need to send in an example .eml message to be looked at.
Can you display the same email ok using the latest V9 or 10 desktop Pc or Mac application? Or does that have the same display issues.
I have an example email, but cannot see how I can upload to this post. How do I get this to you and Gary?
Still unsure why eM Client cannot process the emails, but other more basic app’s can do so without any problems. Any ideas why?
I am not a user of eM Client on my desktop so cannot confirm if v9 / v10 works okay, but I can confirm it opens fine in Gmail web, Mailbird Windows and Outlook Windows,
I have an example email, but cannot see how I can upload to this post.
To see the email source code as an example in this thread, you can open the email on your eM Client mobile app and then via the menu there is a “Save to file” option which saves as a .eml file. Once saved, email that to eM Client for desktop and then you can “right click on the email” and “view the source code”. Then copy and paste that in this thread. Blank out anything personal.
As mentioned previously, I don’t use eM Client for desktop so cannot perform the steps you requested.
However, regardless, I am still unsure why eM Client cannot process the emails, but other more basic mobile email app’s can do so without any problems (e.g. Samsung Email, Maildroid, Gmail etc). Any ideas why?
On a separate note, can we have the option to adjust the font size (not just the font size for sending emails), as some emails can be very difficult to read, unlike alternative apps which provide the option to adjust font size for the entire app, without the email content disappearing off the page.

Most desktop mail clients can open / read an exported .eml file to then view the source code. So you can also use other desktop mailers too.
Alternatively you can install eM Client via the main homepage where there is a new V10 just released for Pc & Mac and it also has a 30 day trial of the Pro features if you have never used eM Client before. Suggest to give it a try.
You can also then see “if that same email will then read ok in eM Client on the desktop compared to the mob app”. Or if it’s the same problem.
On a separate note, can we have the option to adjust the font size (not just the font size for sending emails), as some emails can be very difficult to read.
To increase the mobile Font size on an Android mobile for reading mail or composing mail see my post in the following thread.
To increase the mobile Font size on iPhone or iPad, see the Apple website link below to see how to change the reading mail font in the OS.
Please confirm email address to the send the .eml file to for analysis.
Other email app’s cope with these emails fine, as per my previous message where I reference Samsung Email and Maildroid. Any ideas why eM Client does not cope with these mails after you have reviewed the .eml file that I will send to you when you provide your email address.
As for the font size, I only want to change the font size in the eM Client mobile app, as emails can sometime appear very small depending if they have been indented or how they have been created by the sender. When this happens, I can open an alternative email mobile app (e.g. Maildroid) and it allows me to adjust the font size for either ‘reading’ or ‘composing’ emails, or ‘both’. Within eM Client, I can see the option to adjust the font size for ‘composing’, but not for ‘reading’ and there is no requirement to change the font size for the entire operating system and all app’s. Please can you advise how this can be done just for eM Client mobile app (i.e. the same as other email mobile app’s) or enhance the app features to do so?
Please confirm email address to the send the .eml file to for analysis.
There is no official email address on this free community forum to send in that to be analysed. Normally if you have a paid Pro or Personal eM Client version you can then login to the following VIP Support page and submit a ticket and then send in any files to be analysed. An assigned engineer will then get back to you.
So as you don’t currently use eM Client for desktop as you advised, then we might be able to see why it’s not displaying in the mobile app if you paste your email source code that is not displaying correctly as an example in this thread. As I said if you do blank out anything personal.
Other email app’s cope with these emails fine, as per my previous message where I reference Samsung Email and Maildroid.
As I mentioned previously that can be due to sometimes “non standard html” sending code. So the source code would need to be analysed.

See my last post for how to adjust the mobile font size on Android and Apple mobile devices.
Thanks for your quick reply. The previous post where you mention font size is for change the size when composing the message in eM Client, or the overall font size in general within the android OS. I am looking to change the display size of the font only within the eM Client App (i.e. the same as other email mobile app’s that allow this feature - e.g. Maildroid). Please advise how this can be applied to just within the eM Client mobile app - thank you.
As for the source file, as requested, please see below.
Look forward to hearing from you regarding both points above.

The post i made further up does show you “how you change the font size for reading mail”.
On an Android and iOS device you change the font size for reading mail “In the OS Settings” as i mentioned where that changes the fon’t dynamically for all mail apps on the mobile device. You don’t do that directly within the mail app.
As for the source file, as requested, please see below.
Ok i have looked / viewed the source code on the above G-Shock web page, and that code does display perfectly when i tested sending that webpage sourcecode in an email to the latest eM Client Android and Apple mobile apps. No issues at all as in the below Droid Mobile app example on my eg: Samsung OS 14 mobile. Also using Font Style Default size in the Droid OS / Settings.
What Droid or IOS OS version are you running ? Could be then your OS version.
Thanks. My Samsung Galaxy S20 5G runs ‘One UI v5.1’ and the OS is ‘Android 13’.
As for the source code, there is a restriction on number of characters you can upload to this website and only limits you to 2 X links, but the source code has many. Is that any other way to send you the full source code?

Don’t need to see that full source code G-Shock example, as we can already see that now in the Browser link you posted. Nothing wrong with that source code.
If you have a LinkedIn example we can also test that one to see if there is any problem there.
My Samsung Galaxy S20 5G runs ‘One UI v5.1’ and the OS is ‘Android 13’.
Suggest to then try updating your Samsung S20 to the latest OS 14 and the One UI 6.1 via your OS Settings, which should be available for your device and then try again reading that same email. As could be the eM Client app needs the later OS version. Dunno.
If that still doesn’t work or OS 14 & UI 6.1 “is not available for your Samsung S20”, then you might need to try clearing the “cache and data” completely in the eM Client Droid app "via your OS “Settings / Apps / eM Client / Storage” section and then setup your email account as new again.
Or try uninstalling and reinstalling the eM Client app via the Playstore and see if that fixes the reading mail problem.
Or failing that, you might need to try resetting your Droid device to default settings as could be something in the OS Settings has changed from the default thats affecting it.
These are the below Samsung OS 14 default Display / Font settings i use, and also the default Display resolution i use on OS 14 that then “works fine with that website email on EMC Mob app”.
thank you for your great feedback and suggestions. The OS is the latest available at present, but can confirm that prior to the Android 14 being made available, the issue still occurred.
I have 4 mobiles in total, and can confirm that I have tested eM Client on each one (using all your steps outlined in your most recent post), which were all having the same problem with these emails. However, all 4 mobiles can process the emails in question fine, with no issues, when using the alternative email mobile app e.g. Samsung Email, Maildroid or Gmail. The issue only occurs when using eM Client mobile app.
do you have an update you can share regarding my previous message.
As I couldn’t find any issues with your G-Shock email displaying in eM Client mobile app, do you have a LinkedIn example url ? that we can test in the mobile client, as you mentioned you also had this issues with LinkedIn as well.
I don’t have a URL, but I do have an eml file saved from a LinkedIn email that does not display the full content in eM Client.
What I have noticed is that all these emails that do not load correctly, will ‘sometimes’ eventually loads after several minutes, but when checking the same emails in alternative mobile email apps such as ‘Samsung Email’ or ‘Maildroid’ it works 100% every time.
I don’t have a URL, but I do have an eml file saved from a LinkedIn email that does not display the full content in eM Client.
Ok without a Linkin url, the only way we can normally test that code in the mobile app on this free forum, is for you to either paste that source code from the .eml in this thread, or if you eg: use a cloud drive, like Google Drive, Dropbox etc, and can attach that Linkin .eml example as a link to this thread, we can then view that and test it.
Hi - I don’t have of the cloud or similar drop boxes. Do you have one that I can upload the file to? If not, can you provide me with an email address so I can send the .eml file?
Look forward to hearing from you regarding next steps.
I don’t have of the cloud or similar drop boxes. Do you have one that I can upload the file to?
No I don’t give out my personal cloud drive or email address to upload files into. I also don’t have any public email address to send files.
So if you want to send your .eml file & don’t currently have a cloud drive to share the file, “create your own free cloud space” on eg: Google Drive, One Drive, Dropbox etc and then “share that file or folder as a public link on this thread” and we can then view and test it on the mobile app.
