In the latest version v10 the Search input field makes it difficult to move the document window. Can the position of the search field be changed? I use Windows 11.

There seems to have been a lot of discussion about the search position, with the conclusion it’s not movable and I can’t be made that way.
Personally I’d also like to move it… Have the same problem as You and the RDC mentioned there.

Same here, I use another software (tidy tabs) which shows tobas for every application open in the top middle, and the search bar is hidden behind the other tidy tabs I have.
Would like to move it back to the right side

Another vote to move it back where it was, where it belongs. I have the same problem – When I want to move the app window the search field dead in the wrong place and I can’t grab the window there. The titlebar is for window management, not search fields nor any other control.*
What were they thinking??
* For that matter the main menu should be on its own row between the titlebar and the toolbar. That’s the standard location for a drop-down menu system. Or at very least, to the left of the “New” button.
