Is there a way I can select what I want to sync in my Exchange account settings? I do not want to sync my Tasks, I only want to sync Mail, Calendar, and Contacts, although I would like the option to turn off each one individually. Is this possible, or is it slated for a future upgrade?
I find that my Tasks currently do not sync correctly with the Exchange module. If I select ‘snooze’ or dismiss’ in eMClient, the update does not make it back to my Exchange Server, so I am constantly annoyed with Task reminder popups.
The ability to individually select Mail, Calendar, Contacts, and Tasks for syncing would be a substantial improvement.
Hi,
unfortunately this is not currently possible with the exchange account, although it might be improved in future releases.
For your task synchronization issue, try to right click your tasks folder and select Properties > Repair and click on the Repair button, it might help.
What version of eM Client are you currently using?
Thank you for the reply. I currently am using version 6.0.20154.0.
Hopefully the option to select what to sync will come in a future release.
I will try the repair and see if that helps. I didn’t have trouble at first, then my eMClient started crashing a couple days ago with my Exchange account enabled. Once I disabled by Exchange account, eMClient stopped crashing.
Hi, if your application is crashing, can you copy the error you’re receiving?
There should be a window with a button “Show error” when the application crashes.
It has been over 30 minutes with my Exchange Account re-enabled on version 6.0.20224.0 and it has not crashed out. That is very promising, considering it was crashing out after about 5-10 minutes before.
As an update, my emclient started crashing again. It is not as frequent; only about every 2-3 days now. I think it is related to my Exchange Account since disabling the Exchange Account keeps my client stable.
Unfortunately, it never crashes while I am at the computer so I cannot see the error log. I tried looking at the emclient log files, but they don’t seem to have much information, so I am not clear on what is actually happening when emclient shuts down. I just know emclient shut down incorrectly because each time I reopen the client, it does the database check, stating it was shut down incorrectly.
Is there another place I should be looking for logs so I can post them in here for you to look at?
Hi, unfortunately the crash error we’d like to (need to) see is only shown after the application crashes, it’s not logged in any other logs.
If you’ll be able to see the error/crash, send me the error so we can find a solution hopefully.
The crash happened while I was at my computer and here is the error log. Hope this helps.

Hi again, this error/crash is actually being caused by something else in the system, if it happens again while you’re on the computer, can you please download this tool (http://www.emclient.com/tools/emdump.exe) and run it when the error occurs?
Hi again, we’ve downloaded the dump, but it’s still being reviewed. Thank you for your patience, I’ll keep you posted once we have a possible solution for the issue.
Ok, thanks. BTW, I turned off my Exchange account and my client continues to stay up with no crashes. I really feel the crash is still related to the Exchange account somehow.
Looking forward to seeing what you find. Thank you for the assistance.
