Stuck view in email panel after new emails received

If I open emclient, all emails get synced. I work with the emails, and then I minimize emclient. During that time, a bunch of new emails arrives, but the view is still stuck on the emails that were previously in the inbox (I use All inboxes view) and I don’t see the new emails unless I manually scroll up.

This behavior should be somehow fixed or at least configurable so that the new emails appear automatically on top and the list moves down, so that when I restore the window, I can immediately see all new emails (and the view is srolled up all the time). This is the default Outlook behavior and it’s very difficult to get used to this and I already missed some emails due to this.

eM Client shows new mail notifications when the mail client is minimised so you don’t miss new email, but It is by design that your position in the message list for that folder is remembered until you restart the application as @Gary advised in his post in the following thread on that feature request.
