Resending mails: header when quoting

When replying to a mail, the quoted original is preceded by a header similar to:

On 01/01/2020 12.00.00, “So-and-So” [email protected] wrote:

Or, in the case of a forwarded message, by:

From: “So-and-So” [email protected]
Date: —day, 01 January 2020 12.00.00
To: [email protected]
Subject: This is a Feature Improvement request

There is no such header when one resends a mail, but I think that it would be more than useful. Moreover, in my previous mail application, apart from the header, a script (possibly external, I cannot remember) provided for the insertion of the string [RESEND] in the Subject line, immediately following the message’s original subject.

I have just discovered by accident that Replying to a mail sent by myself actually Resends it (with the proper header) to the original recipient! Which, now that I know it, is good enough for my purposes, but nonetheless a bit curious…

With regard to the sender’s account used to Reply = Resend, nothing has changed (resets to default mail account)
