Problem with open emClient

I have a problem opening emClient on my computer. I downloaded emClient v10.1.4588, after installing it I opened it and got an error “Unable to load DLL ‘libcef’ or one of its dependencies: cannot find the specified module (0x8007007E)”.
What it mean? I tried to reinstall emClient - still got error.

Since you tried reinstalling eM Client it may be a problem elsewhere on your computer. Did you try restarting the computer before the reinstall?
This may help understand the issue:

Could it be your antivirus preventing the PC from accessing the DLL file?

I tried it, and tried that fixes from the link. I don’t want to reinstall my OS, is any option for repair that?

I don’t know, someone else may have a suggestion.

Unable to load DLL ‘libcef"

That’s usually an OS problem with corrupted files, or a problem in the registry somewhere.

You can try installing the latest Visual C++ redistributable as per @pablo1 posted in the following thread, as libcef is related to Visual Studio. There is different versions for Arm64, X86 & X64. Reboot your computer after installing. That might fix it.

If that still doesn’t work, then try running the Microsoft install / uninstaller that can sometimes help with problems installing programs. Reboot your computer after running the below program.

“The Program Install and Uninstall troubleshooter helps you automatically repair issues when you’re blocked from installing or removing programs. It also fixes corrupted registry keys”.

If that still has the same issue, then try creating a new Windows user profile incase your current profile is possibly corrupted in some way.

If a new profile still won’t work, then you might then need to reset Windows like new and “choose the options to save your user data” as per the following Microsoft website link below.
