Can anyone explain how these categorisations work? After the V10 upgrade I seemed to lose most of my stored emails in one inbox, only to find later they had been recategorised as Promotions. They are not what I consider to be a promotion of anything and I would quite like to change them, if there is a way to do it in bulk and also some means to prevent the same thing happening again. My other mailbox seems to work better, but I’m not sure there is any benefit to me now having to check my emails in four places rather than 2. What is the reasoning behind the change?

Very odd, isn’t it. On one mailbox eMClient classes 90% of the emails I receive from a couple of email newsgroups as “Promotions” yet 10% still get through to my “Primary” category and I have no idea what makes these few different! I’m assuming it’s an AI function which means it will be impossible for it to learn anything new. Disabling it is sounding increasingly attractive!
