Outlook.com email has stopped working in emClient

emClient has suddenly started complaining that password is required for an outlook.com account. And it just shows a popup without anything in the popup to enter a password. Then, when I go to Account > …@outlook.com there is no place where I can enter a password.

This same outlook account is working perfectly on Thunderbird with 0 issues, but in emClient it’s stopped working.

I think this is a bug since when emClient asks for password, it doesn’t provide for password entry from Account settings or from the popup. I am using version 7.2.34711.0 of emClient.

Mine is exactly the same. It started yesterday. I need a fix for this.

what keeps all you people from setting up your outlook.com accounts as Exchange?

I got the same problem Tuesday about 10:00 UK time, still unresolved, able to access outlook.com elsewhere so bug is at eM

Here unfortunately also the same problem. The Outlook calendar, Outlook contacts and Outlook mails are no longer synchronized.
MS-Outlook works fine and in my Android phone everything works fine as well. Please provide an update.

Have applied the DOWNLOAD WINDOWS FIX mentioned above and now seems OK

I’ve searched for an update from eMClient and it installs a newer version. This fixed the problem. Why didn’t install the ipdate automatically??

Yes I found that the windows version on the linkfixes the issue - but searching for an update within the program itself doesn’t find it - so you have to install manually.

I have 7 different hosted email accounts, it’s nice to have them all in one place.

I did the download for windows fix.  it does not work.  the first option is 2 complicated.  can i reinstall em client ?  will it save my messages ?

Tried all solutions, so uninstalled original and downloaded again from website.

Great, that worked. If you’re already screwing on MS Exchange, can you please see why in the calendar after the manual synchronize, appointments disappear? I have subscribed to 10 calendars and after the manual sync, some calendars are gone. The only remedy so far has been to remove and re-set up the MS Exchange account.
If it’s important for you, I bought it pro version.
