How to setup Reply To Address

Hi all,

I have eM Client V10 and would like to setup a permanent “reply to” address for one of my email accounts.

Is this possible?

If this is like an eg: Out of office auto reply, you would normally set that up online in your mailbox.

No, it’s like this setting in thunderbird:

Oh ok. Normally whatever you have in the email address field in eM Client General Tab “is automatically used as the reply address”.

You can alternatively setup an Alias email address and then either select that as the sender / reply address “when you compose & send mail”.

Or if you want an Alternate Alias address to be a permanent reply address, put that alternate alias email address in the default email address field.

Do I have to create the alias as well?

If you already have an alternative email address “setup in your mailbox online” as the reply address, and you permanently want it “always to be from that alt address”, then you shouldn’t first need to create an Alias email address in eM Client.

You would just put your alternate reply email address “in the email address field in eM Client General Tab” rather than your normal email address.
