The latest V10.2 “now has the directional delete” available in the Settings. See my post.
Also you can “jump to the next newest” or “previous message” via new one-step shortcut keys.

Note: Before upgrading make a manual backup via “Menu / Backup” incase you need to restore for any reason. Also close eM Client before updating.
