The Directional Delete has now been implemented in the latest eM Client V10.1.5131 for Pc and Mac via the release history page.
Go to “Menu / Settings (Preferences) / Mail / Read” and scroll down to “After deleting a message” and select “Previous Message” and Save Settings.
