The problems, going back to version 9 are written here: Go bacxk to version 9
I will go back to 9 because I did not want to pay for version 10.

If you don’t want to pay for V10 and didn’t purchase V9 previously, and you are using it for personal use, then it will still operate past the initial 30day trial in a limited version the same as V9 where you can still access email, contacts, calendar tasks, chat etc.
V10 also has much better features as well than V9 if you then down the track want to purchase it later.
I have a full version license for version 9 and in my opinion the version 10 is for their high price not so much better. So I will stay at 9.
The new enveloped features are not necessary for me.
It is fine for your company to allow a downgrade.
With best regards
