eM taskbar icon doesn't show that there are new mails

Hi, I am a new user and am running 10.3.2619 on Windoze 11. When a new mail arrives I get a popup indicating such but I’d like to glance at the taskbar icon for eM and see it display there are new messages. This normal behavior in Outlook or Thunderbird. Can this be done? Many thanks in advance…Jeff

Does the windows client not have a BADGE ICON for new messages? I was using another client (SPARK) and that one does. I do not seem to get any badge icon showing the number of new messages in windows. Thank you …

Notifications for received emails

I used to receive little notifications in the lower corner of my PC window that I had received an email. It has disappeared. I think I did something in the options that caused it to disappear but for the life of me I can’t figure out what. HELP, PLEASE. Thank you.
