eM Client v9 on macOS, no email bodies loading

It worked yesterday, but today, nothing loads. (The email contents.)
Everything looked fine, even checking for email (operations seemed to proceed fine).
But no emails show the contents.
I figured I’d try a fresh install, and a clean install, with nothing loaded, the default/first local Inbox’s Welcome to eM Client email won’t load either, so I guess there’s a deeper issue/bug. It keeps spinning:
