eM Client support of StartMail nand Proton Mail

I am looking to move some of my sensitive electronic correspondence on to a more secure mail server. Does eM Client support the use of StartMail or Proton Mail

Proton Mail is supported on eM Client where a lot users do already use that. See @gary post below on how to setup Protonmail bridge

Protonmail Bridge Setup

Get your mailbox details from Protonmail Bridge [image] In eM Client go to Menu > Accounts and add a new account. Choose Mail > Other. [image] Enter your email address, then on the next screen add in the IMAP server details from the Bridge. For the server use 127.0.0.1:1143 So server : Port. [image] Do the same with SMTP. I haven’t heard of Startmail but if it’s standard POP, IMAP, Exchange type account then it should work fine with eM Client.

Googling Startmail it appears “you need to generate a device (app password) for Mail clients when adding the acct instead of your normal email password. So generate that in your Startmail account first. Then setup the account.

You initially get a 30day trial of the full featured version of eM Client so suggest to give it a go.

eM Client appears to work fine with Proton Mail Bridge. I’ve configured it successfully but don’t use Proton Mail heavily, so my use inside eM Client has been light.
