I added this suggestion (below) to beta 1, however as it was at the weekend I think it crossed over with the release of beta 2. At any rate it applies equally to beta 2.
v5 had problems with paging up and down long emails that contained multiple replies - pressing ‘Page Down’ would set focus to the end of the email rather than just moving down a singe page. This has been mostly fixed in v6 (for which many thanks). The problem only seems to remain now when replying to an email (i.e. one that has many replies in it) - again, paging down causes focus to jump to the end of the email.
Beyond that I’m very happy with the v6 beta - it seems more polished generally across the board and for me is already my preferred mail client.

First disapointment: Still categories are not parsed into groups (as Outlook and any other PIM does). This has been one of those V5, V6, Vinfite promisses.
This should be three groups “Auto” with all the five contacts in it, “Finanzen“ with the two contacts given in the example and “Lieferanten” with two contacts.
First great change: Contact images do sync via CalDav from and to iOS. Great!
This really took its time, finally this works now.

You need to change a contact before it syncs again.
Try add a return to the contact note
OR
Drag and drop contact out of eM Client, sync and drop it back in.
This is an easy to implement change, but helpful in design:
Please change eM Client icon settings in registry when eM Client is set to standard mail handler:
*.eml = envelope icon
*.ics = calendar sheet icon
*.card = address card icon
Today, all the files have the same round eM Client icon that does not mean anything about the file.
As I wrote in this topic https://discourse.emclient.com/emclient/topics/calendar_default_reminder_setting the Reminder icon ALWAYS has to be appear in front. Unfortunately, this happens so far only in the entries that are short enough (in Beta 6.1)

Default reminder settings are of course already included - right click on calendar folder and in General Information there you can set default reminder you want

You don’t have to, but you can. As free user you can use it without any limitation.
As a pro user you can use 6th version too, but after end of beta testing user will have to return to 5th version (with compatibility mode for database or continue using beta version if he/she has not bought license for 6th version)

I did not thought of this as a per-calendar setting and thus, looked only in Options menu.
I’ve got a lifetime licence. Will I be able to upgrade directly from Beta to Final 6.0 or do I have to step back in advance?

Sad. Would have been a three line setting in the installer that, as of today, resets my personal changes each time an eM Client setup has run.

I don’t know which kind of version I have (6.0.19179.0) and I do not understand if you’re telling that if I download the 6th 2 beta version, I’ll have to return to 5th version.
eM Client 6.0.19404 now displays paragraph bottom paddings (half line space between paragraphs) in contact and tasks notes.
Good or bad? (I personally think this is wrong in straight text-only fields.)
However, it’s not possible any more to enter soft line breaks in notes with Shift+Return. (Shift+Return now closes the dialog.)
I cannot find a shortcut setting that overrides Shift+Return.
How to enter soft line breaks if I need to enter a newline instead of a paragraph?
