Running 10.0.2382. I don’t want the category column in the mail lists. I know I can disable it individually for each folder, but is there an general switch to disable the column in all my mail lists?
I have disabled the “Show Categories” in Settings → E-Mail, but that is obviously not what I am looking for…

Just go to Inbox, configure the columns and then apply that to all other email folders, using Gary’s “secret option” as described in:
