Hi. I’ve read numerous threads from the last several years with users asking for Tasks to be displayed in the Calendar view. The response has been “there is nowhere to show it (for monthly view)” - but Google is now showing tasks in their day / week / month calendar.
Google is using the rule that tasks with dates / times are displayed in the calendar. Tasks without dates are not and only show in the Tasks view.
Could v10 follow Google on this?

Yes–it would be great to see dated tasks on the calendar. It’s crazy how few calendar/tasks solutions support this essential feature for planning.

You can see all the Calendar “upcoming Monthly Google Task dates” in the Agenda view sidebar.
Click the “Cog wheel” in the Agenda sidebar and select “Show Tasks”, and then “choose your Month/s or Year” to view all the upcoming tasks. eg: Year below.
Then when you type the name of the task and select a date for the task “also type the task name with the same date you chose at the end of your task name” as in the example below.
You can then see all the upcoming Monthly Google tasks via the Calendar “Agenda on the sidebar” on the right of eM Client and can “also see the date” of the upcoming task.
This is a work around way to get the date showing on the right of the Agenda task. Hopefully down the track the date you select for the tasks can also be added automatically to the Agenda on the right side.

I knew about showing tasks in the agenda but thought it would just be a little better to follow Google and show the tasks in the calendar view - makes it easier to scan the calendar and see what is happening on the dates shown rather than bouncing your eyes back and forwards between calendar and agenda.
I guess the lack of response from support means it’s not being considered…

If you are then wanting Google tasks to be displayed “in the Main Calendar Monthly view” within each day like Google Calendar currently does, then create a suggestion for that in the eM Client Sleekplan Suggestion and Voting ideas page.
