how can I switch off calendar reminder pop-up window? I cannot work on my laptop with jumping pop-up window on screen each time.

I think that best course of action would be to set the default reminders for your calendar to be ‘No reminder’ and change the reminder setting for your existing events.
Set the default reminder length in the Properties window of each folder by right clicking it and choosing Properties.
You cannot turn off the Reminder window, but if there are no reminders set to your events, then it will not pop up.
