Anybody who has the skill want to tackle an “accessibility” theme? By that I mean light (white) text on a black background? Some of older folk need a little help reading, and with the modern, subtle, coloring used, often times have a hard time reading any text or emails.
I have worked around this by changing the default text color to white and background color to black, but that only applies if I have the client default to plain text email only. It works, sort of, but only for the fields where text lay, so in essense, there is a black box with white text surround by the rest of the inbox field as white. Looks … well … odd. And it is.
Any help would be appreciated. I am trying to get away from Thunderbird, but the ability to view in a modified simple HTML with reverse contract makes this hard. Hoping someone has a trick up their sleeve here.
Have you looked at the DARK theme that is in the version 7 ?
I did - it only changes the windows UI, but the email is still displayed with the standard fonts and colors.

I’m one of those OLDER FOLK you refer to (73+) and I recently started using Richard Mourino’s beautiful theme!
The blue border is nice and bright, and the underlined emails makes them stand out nicely.
Also, I went into the Menu/Tools/Settings/Appearance/Lists and adjusted the font sizes to suit my visual needs (all set to Times New Roman 12pt Bold is good for my ol’ eyes).
Hope this info helps you in your decision.
