I am reaching out because I am having some trouble syncing my contacts between eM Client and my Google Contacts account. I have set up the integration; and while my emails seem to sync without any issues; my contacts are not updating as expected.
I have added my Google account in eM Client; and it shows that the connection is active.
I have checked the sync settings for contacts and ensured that the box for syncing is checked.
I have tried manually syncing by clicking the refresh button; but it still does not seem to pull in any new contacts from Google. I have also made sure that I have the latest version of eM Client installed; so I do not think it is a software issue.
What is frustrating is that I can see my contacts in Google Contacts when I log in through the browser; but they do not appear in eM Client.
Also, I have gone through this post; https://forum.emclient.com/t/does-emclient-sync-with-google-contacts-not-import-but-sync-mlops/ which definitely helped me out a lot.
I have searched through the forum and the knowledge base but have not found a solution that works.

Check that you have enabled the “Contacts” box under your Gmail account as in the 2nd screenshot example below, which should then show / sync exactly the same contacts in eM Client as in Google contacts online as in the 3rd example screenshot below.
Now if you already have eM Client Contacts enabled under your Gmail account, and not seeing the same contacts, then i would suggest to next try repairing your Google contacts in eM Client, by 'right clicking on All Contacts" and clicking “Properties” at the bottom. Then click the “Repair” tab at the top and finally click “Repair”. That will clear your local cache in eM Client and resync your online Google contacts to eM Client Contacts.
Then if your contacts are still not synching after repairing your account, then suggest to next try uninstalling eM Client and if you have Windows “dont delete the database” when asked on the uninstall wizard. Then reinstall the same or later version via the release history page and see if that fixes it.
Lastly if your Google online contacts are still not synching after uninstalling and reinstalling eM Client, then suggest next to go to “Menu / Accounts” and remove and re-add your Gmail account via the “automatic account wizard” at the top. Before removing your account, make a manual backup of eM Client via “Menu / Backup” just incase you need to restore for any reason. You can see when the backup is complete via clicking the dropdown arrow on the right of refresh top left.
