Changing contact info doesn't work

Using version 10.0.3530 (f0b89b7)

I added a contact in EM Client, but I entered it incorrectly. I also added that contact to a distribution list. I sent the email to the group and of course that one bounced.

  1. I went back to the contact and changed the email. The distribution list still showed the incorrect email.
  2. I deleted it from the list and tried to re-add it. Still showed the incorrect email.
  3. I deleted it both from the list and the contacts - re-added it. Just tried to send an email and it still showed the incorrect email.
  4. Shut down EM Client - thinking it was a cache issue, nope, no joy, still wrong.

Once you have sent a message, the address is recorded in the recipients history, and of course there is a message in the Sent folder with that incorrect address as well.

We offer suggestions from both those locations when you are composing a message.

You can delete the message in the Sent folder, and remove it from the recipient history which you will find in Menu > Settings > Mail > Compose.

This is totally unintuitive. and useless if I actually want to save the email I sent. sigh.
