Cannot receive POP3 Mails anymore

Hi Forum,

since yesterday i cannot receive nor send E-Mails using eM Client. There is an error msg displayed in a popup window, saying: Could not reach Update-Server within the last 14 days. And: RetrieveLicenseXml failed. What’s wrong here?

Any help and hint is highly appreciated.

eM Client has been unable to reach the update server for the past 14 days.
Please ensure that the server is reachable from your network to continue
using the product.
The last attempt failed with the following error: RetrieveLicenseXml failed

You have access to your offline data, but online synchronization and email
sending are not working

If you are certain that there is no issue with your mail server contact:
sales@emclient.com and explain the issue

The reason is given in the error message and is possibly some sort of
security check to ensure eMC is not being used illigaly
