Can the App Icon in the Dock display an unread mail count or indicator?
Yes apart from the notification settings in eM Client (to not disable when fullscreen is detected or popup etc) as per 1st screenshot below, you have to enable eM Client Notifications in the “Apple / System Settings / Notifications” as per the below 2nd & 3rd screenshot examples from Mac Ventura OS.
In the below example you will get new unread mail notifications “at the top right corner of your screen with a Small Banner” and also “the Unread icon notification on the Dock Bar”.
Note:- You also have to make sure eM Client is “Open or Minimised” or you won’t see the notifications.
