so still no means to search the blacklist for entries that should be removed?
There is a current eM Client Sleekplan suggestion to search / filter the blacklist for email address’s or domains that has been accidentally added to then be able to delete them. Suggest to add your vote for this feature via the following link below.
Currently using eM Client V10 ive tried using the Blacklist “Export” option and selected only “Rules” which includes the Blacklist to a .xml file, but if i then open and search & delete an email address or domain in the .xml file using eg: Notepad or Texedit, when i reimport the saved .xml file, “the Blacklist is blank”. Tried multiple text editors but always blank. The Rules also get duplicated after reimporting as well “even though i haven’t touched any of the Rules”.
So yes if eM Client could make a search and delete blacklist entries that would be great.
This is already implemented and in testing and will be included in the next update.
We have also added support for import and export of these lists and server side blacklists and whitelists sync and management for some servers (SmarterMail, IceWarp). This is going to be released in a couple of days.
I am using 10.1.4588 for windows and this search box seems to only search for “settings” and not content in the Blacklist.
I am currently downloading the whole blacklist and then am using Notepad to search for entries that I need to remove. The list in EMC is not sorted alphabetically and with thousands of entries it is very time consuming to find the rouge email address…
I went to Sleekplan to see where and what has been done, but sleekplan seems to have disappeared.
The way EMC handles blacklisting of email is very annoying and has annoyed business partners as I have not been getting some email. My online server does NOT catch all SPAM so it is essential to have a working Blacklist in EMC.
Yes, thank you, I finally figured it out. It’s just that this search box is exactly the same as the one you use to search for settings in previous versions windows, making it a little confusing.
