we get people sending 6x 3MB images in emails, both as attachments and inline.
I periodically purge the worst.
what would be great is an option to resize them to a small images so we retain some information - say 15KB at a small resolution (or user configurable).

Wouldnt anyone else find this useful?
My mailboxes are back up to 50GB and 48GB of that is large images. People seem to send 4MB images when a 150KB one would suffice.
Howdy - any chance this is on the list? If not I think I’ll have to find a way this side. Mailboxes at 58GB IMAP now.
You can resize an embedded image pasted within eM CIient and you can also use freeware paint programs on pc and mac to resize attached images.
