You've Got Mail

I’m a new user attempting to migrate from Thunderbird to eMClient. Thunderbird has a feature that will play a .WAV file (“You’ve Got Mail”) when there is new incoming mail. I’m trying to implement that same feature on eMClient (version 8.0.2951) but can’t figure out how to do it. I’m using a Windows 10 PC. Help would be appreciated, thanks.

Start here: Menu > Settings > Notifications

Okay thanks, found the Notifications page. Next step?

Set the notifications … those you want and those you don’t… if you want different sounds then find a wave and note where the current one is located and add your sound to the directory and then choose it when setting the associated notification (s).

Reminder: I am not an employee of eM Client.

That worked, appreciate your help :+1:

Step 1. Copied Aol-Gotmail.wav from Thunderbird’s location to the C:\Program Files (x86)\eM Client\sound folder.
Step 2. Revised the Incoming mail Type Sound file to C:\Program Files (x86)\eM Client\sound\Aol-Gotmail.wav
Step 3. Unchecked the Disable Sound option.
Step 4. Clicked the Apply button.
