Everything syncs properly between yahoo and emclient except my calendar. This has happened before and removing/reinstalling my account has fixed it. Not this time. I’ve done it twice and no calendar. Any suggestions?
Same here. eMClient no longer adds Yahoo calendars when a Yahoo account is added. The configuration is there, but the calendar does not show up in eMClient.
not sure if this is due to changes at Yahoo.
I created an account just to share that I am living the same situation.
Deleting and configuring again didn’t fix the issue. Seemed to happen last week (Between Nov18 and 22).
Probably a change on Yahoo side.
Yahoo says the correct calDAV address is : https://caldav.calendar.yahoo.com which is not the default that populates when you set up your account in emclient. I tried entering that address in Account/calDAV tab in emclient and it did not fix the problem. So disappointing.
We have pre-defined settings for Yahoo! accounts. The URI used for CalDAV is https://caldav.calendar.yahoo.com/.well-known/caldav
Please check that is what you have. If the URI is incorrect, the calendars folders won’t be displayed in eM Client.
This is already the URL configured in my account (didn’t change it since the beginning, neither after deleting and reconfiguring my Yahoo account).
Something has changed and someone should have a look on it.
Probably a server issue, unless you changed the URI in eM Client.
You will need to contact the provider for assistance, if you can.
By provider, you mean eM Client (which I thought doing it through this forum) or Yahoo (which is not eM Client developper and will surely avoid the request)?
By provider I mean Yahoo!
They provide the calendar service, so if they have changed something, or there is a temporary or intermittent issue, only they can say for sure.
Here is what Yahoo says. the address is different than the one stated above from Gary with emclient. Neither fix the problem!
Has anyone had any luck fixing this? I sure would like to have my calendar back on my email ap. Don’t want to have to start all over again with a different ap.
No and I have been working on it for the last 3 hours with no luck. I use it for work and it not working is a problem to say the least.
Before I start changing my password, has anyone found the removal of special characters to work to solve this issue?
I assume you are referring to the password to your Yahoo account. I do have a special character in my Yahoo password. I have not tried changing that. Let us know if that works if you try it. Thank you!
I tried to changing my password to one without special characters as per afm59print. This did not resolve the issue. Sadly.
The issue is just the calendar. For email its works fine, it would be the same account and password for it all so its the pathway for the calendar if I had to guess. Its broken and for me it stopped working last week when I added my yahoo email account to EMClient with my business account. its very frustrating and is making me think about going back to Outlook since supposedly yahoo can link to outlook now
Agreed ClintB. Everything works fine except the calendar. I hate to go through the trouble of switching but emclient seems unwilling to look into a fix. And I need the calendar where it was.
I find personally with even the latest V9.2.2307 and V10.1.4828 on eg: Mac Sequoia, the default Yahoo automatic account wizard OAuth token setup adds in your account where you “press Agree at the end” and “tick the box to always open eM Client” in your browser which then brings eM Client into the foreground and receives mail.
However “even though the Contacts and Calendar are showing added in ok in Accounts” with the same token username, the Contacts and Calendar “are not showing in eM Client”. (Only my other Non Yahoo IMAP accounts & Local Contacts and Local Calendar). Even testing with multiple browsers.
If you also select the “Default Folders” for the Contacts and Calendar in accounts there is no Yahoo accounts added in those sections “even though they have successfully been accepted into the Yahoo account security” via the OAuth token.
The only way i can get Yahoo Contacts “to show and work ok in eM Client” is to use a generated Yahoo App password.
However if i use the same generated app password for the Yahoo Calendar in accounts, eM Client always says its invalid password no matter how many times i enter it.
The Yahoo Calendar URL appears to be correct as per @Gary post further up the thread.
According to the Yahoo technical support they say their end is ok and it must be an eM Client issue. I even created brand new databases to test and same issue.
So the Calendar won’t work via either the default OAuth token setup or Generated App pass. So I think “eM Client devs need to investigate this”.

Anyone got anywhere fixing this fiasco, this seems to happen every couple of years for no apparent reason, unless of course it coincides with an eM update !
Not for lack of trying. On the users’ part, that is. No help from emclient.
