yahoo authentication error

I keep getting authentication error for yahoo account. Even after entering the correct UID and PW, it pops back stating that the info if incorrect, which is very annoying. I can login using the same credentials via web. Client is synching the mails, how ever the message pops out every now and then and is kind of irritating. Is there any solution for this error?

Hi, can you please make a screenshot of the error?
There’s been several topics related to authorization issues with Yahoo, the most recent was related to calendar and contacts settings in Tools > Accounts > Your Yahoo accounts > Calendars/Contacts. Can you make a screenshot of your setup from these windows?

Can you please check if the “Address” field contains your /users/username@domain.com/ part?
If it does, please delete the @domain.com part or change the whole address to:
https://carddav.address.yahoo.com

and to _https://caldav.calendar.yahoo.com _for calendar settings.
