XMPP File Transfer

Although I can chat using eM Client, I cannot transfer files using XMPP chat with eM Client 4.0.14479.0.

I use a 10.6.8 iChat server, Pidgin 2.10.3 on windows clients, and iChat 6.0.1 on Macs.

I can transfer files between a iChat and iChat, Pidgin and iChat, and Pidgin and Pidginl; however I cannot transfer files to anyone using eM Client. When I attempt to send a file using eM Client it says “Transfer was declined.” When I attempt to receive a file using eM Client, I click accept and it just sits there. No transfer.

Any ideas?

Send us logs please: go to menu Tools->Settings->Logging and check “XMPP”. Then restart eM Client,
try to simulate the issue and send us (with reference to this topic) the logs using the same logging settings window.

I’m having same issue.
Don’t see anything in log files!

When using Pidgin filetransfer works perfectly.
Pidgin -> emClient :—: OK
emClient -> Pidgin :—: “Transfer declined”
Pidgin Pidgin :—: OK

I’m using OpenFire Server, there is a port for proxy file transfer, but there is no way to configure it in emClient.

Help!
