This is driving me nuts! I wanted to move an email to a folder, but every time it synchs I get a notification that the folder doesn’t exist on the server. It does exist I checked my gmail. It is an existing folder that I use often. So, when I tell it to create it, it says it already exists. How do I stop this notification coming up all the time?
can I ask what email account and protocol do you use?
This is for my gmail account. I don’t know what protocol it uses.
and have you created your account manually or by automatic setup?
do you have that folder you are trying to move email to even visible in eM Client?
Yes, the folder is in em client and no the web and it’s spelled exactly the same.
Also, I just noticed that for some reason in em client it is italicized.
okay then we would need your IMAP logs, go to Tools - Settings - Advanced, mark off IMAP under your account with this issue, restart eM Client and then try to simulate your issue.
