Windows: Spell checker activates even though settings are unchecked

Hello. I’m on Windows 10, and the spell checker keeps activating on email send even though I’ve unchecked the boxes in settings. All I can find are issues related to using Mac. Can you please help? How do I turn this off?

Did you enable the option to “Check spelling before sending message” in Settings > Mail > Compose, perhaps?
