Windows Reinstall that keeps files if I had local folders are they gone due to roaming folder being the usual spot? Did not backup or anything just want to know if they are gone or not.
See if you have a c:\Windows.old folder after the re-install. As far as I know it does not matter where the old folder was as Windows will backup the %appdata% folder to there.
