On win 11, badge only appears if is minimized, but NOT when is in minimized/closed in systray.
This is annoying because you don’t look that often to systray.

all other apps have badges. for example thunderbird doesn’t have this problem.
For me is clear that the issue is in eM

Yes I know, however, that is not what you asked, your Post was for Systray.
However, if you want the eMC Icon on the Taskbar, do this:
Menu >Settings >General then on top right select:
“Minimize application to tray” & “Close application to tray”
DO NOT forget to SAVE & CLOSE

Yes I know where Badges are displayed, however, you stated otherwise.
I suggest that you read the title to your original post, it states SYSTRAY
You even state SYSTRAY in the body of your post.
Your post title says very clearly “SYSTRAY”, you have made a mistake,
nothing wrong with that if you were confused.
It was not until your third post that you mentioned taskbar.
I have nothing further to say on the matter just so long as you now know
how to display eMC in the Taskbar & System Tray as my earlier post;
It is possible to dis[lay badges in both areas

In Windows 11Pro
If eMC is not visible in the system tray you will need to enable it in
Windows Settings though it should show by default unless you have
a whole bunch of other stuff there.
If this is the case you will need to make a choice.
I assume you do not know how to view the items that are available to
show on the system tray or your would have done so already.
Do this:
Go to Windows Settings >Navigate to Other System Tray Icons >Turn On eMC
That’s it providing you have done nothing wrong and know your way
around Windows.

talking with you is like talking to a wall. it is not about the systray, it is about badges on the taskbar that do not appear when em in minimized/closed to systray. I don’t know how to be more clear than this. please do not further reply regarding the icon in the systray that is working and i never mention it.
