Hello! I have many contacts. Created a folder for every contact. When I move a mail from Post arrived to the folder of that contact, when I enter the folder after 2 weeks I do not see the mail anymore while going to brower Gmail I find the mail non moved to the folder of the contact. With Outlook it does not happen. IMAP Gmail. Pls advise what to do?
As it’s moving emails ok to folders using Outlook with the same Gmail account but not in eM Client, suggest to first “try repairing your Gmail mail folders” to resync to you Gmail account online
To repair your Gmail acct first make a manual backup via “Menu / Backup” incase you need to restore for any reason. You can see when the backup is complete in Show Operations via clicking the drop-down on the right of Refresh.
Then right click on “All Mail” under your Gmail account and click Properties and click the “Repair tab”. Then click Repair. That clears the local cache so emails will take a little time to reappear and will be slower to reread till fully cached locally again.
If the repair still doesn’t fix the problem, then I would suggest next to go to “Menu / Accounts” and “remove and readd your account” via the automatic account wizard as could be then a problem with the actual account in eM Client.
Then once it’s all working create a new backup.
