Why has Auto-Backup stopped working

The auto backup function hasn’t worked for sometime now. I have tried re-installing eMClient and changed the auto backup settings several times but no auto backups are saved. I now have to remember to manually backup which isn’t ideal! There is nothing in Tools - Operations - Errors or Logs to show that auto-backup has even tried to start, let alone why it failed.

How do I get auto backup working again?

In your Windows Task Scheduler, make sure that the eM Client Backup task is not disabled.

Also, in eM Client, make sure that the option is ticked.
