Why does not my personal version update to 10.3?

may I know why doesn’t my persional version update to v10.3 ?

That was the last official update pushed to the client, however there has been some newer Beta and other “Interim updates” since then which you can manually download and install via the release history page below link.

Note: Before updating, first make a manual backup via “Menu / Backup” incase you need to restore for any reason. Also close eM Client before updating. You can see when the backup is complete in Show Operations via clicking the drop-down on the right of Refresh top left.

If the updated new version “works ok”, then you would make a new backup via “Menu / Backup” and continue with the new updated version. No need to go back to the older version.

However if the updated new version “doesn’t work ok for you” and you want to go back to the older version, then you just uninstall it and delete the database and then reinstall your previous V10.1.4588 either from the release history page or Windows store (depending on where you originally installed it from) and then restore your V10.1.4488 backup via “Menu / File / Backup”.

For me personally the latest 10.3.1567 version works fine on PC or Mac so hopefully it also does for you as well. If you do install the latest version and have any questions, just update this thread.
