Many time after windows 11 restarts, em client says database is corrupt after a restart.
Despite Windows 11 shutting down correctly eM Client keeps doing this.
This means eM Cleint does not shutdown correctly most of the time.
Hi, there is another thread about this, but no real answer so far.
I can confirm this
Many time after windows 11 restarts, em client says database is corrupt after a restart.
If you are exiting / closing eM Client “before shutting down Windows or Mac”, and still getting database checking on startup, “then you might have an actual database error beyond repair” and “might need to create a new database”.
So to test if it’s an actual database issue, first "close eM Client"and then “rename your current hidden database folder” to eg: eM Client-Old and then reopen eM Client and setup as new.
(Windows hidden eM Client database folder)
“Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\eM Client”
(Mac Hidden hidden eM Client database folder)
“Users\yourusername\Library\Application Support\eM Client”
Then if a new database works and you need to restore emails from your old database, then see the below eM Client blog page below “part way down the below page”.
