You are welcome to your opinion, but eM Client does not release unstable versions to the public. These minor updates usually address immediate problems, but without a detailed change log it is difficult to know what has changed. You will never know if the issue is still there unless you try it. If, for some reason, the latest version is unstable, you can always uninstall it and reinstall a previous one without loss of data.
If you have a Pro License, please open a support ticket for your problem.
I read somewhere on this forum that the update checker only offers major updates. I don’t think that is so unusual, at least it is fairly common on the Linux platform.
I’m using newest edition 7.1.32792.0, but since problem is very rare (sometimes was few times a week and sometimes once a month) i would like to check it later.
PS. Update checker is nearly useless if it do not detect minor version changes (mostly bugfixes). I do not use it because of this problem.
