Hi!

I am considering switching to eM Client. I have read about the new Task and event detection feature which sounds quite useful to me. Is it correct that this cannot be used with a One-time payment without AI Add-on subscription?

Yes eM Client 11 does have Task and event detection feature which shows at the top of the email as per the below example screenshot below from the AI Features page.

Yes if you purchase eM Client as a One Time payment you need to buy the AI Addon as an extra per month to be able to use that - Buy AI Add-on for eM Client | eM Client .

With eM Client 11 there are a few different ways to use AI features:

  • Subscription licenses have AI Add-on included, both Personal and Business
  • AI Add-on bought separately for either Free or one-time payment Personal or Business license
  • Custom AI Provider - this setting is available for Personal or Business license, so if you already have your own AI key from OpenAI, you can make AI features available in eM Client this way; we are gradually expanding supported models and providers.
