where is the preferences / settings file?

Is there a preferences / settings file that captures all the personalization made in emClient? I’m trying to set up the client on another machine and would rather not have to manually change / add all the personal settings (signatures, quick text, notifications, etc.)

There are two options:

  1. If it is the same email accounts etc. just backup (Menu > File > Backup) on the first computer, then restore (Menu > File > Restore) on the other. This gives you an exact copy.

  2. If you just want some of the settings, you can use the export function. Go to Menu > File > Export > Export settings to .xml file, then you can choose what you want to export. On the other computer use Menu > File > Import > eM Client Settings.
