I don’t understand how this stupid “Archive” works. I inadvertently archived" 2 emails. I want them back. Where can I get them?
What Account do you have ? eg: Gmail, Outlook etc
Not sure why we need to know what the account I use. I have Gmail and AOL accounts. An email is an email no matter what account sends/receives it.
I asked because the Archive folder is in different places depending on your account.
So with Gmail its in the “All Mail” folder under your account, which is where Gmail store any email without a label. You can then just drag, copy or move it back to whatever Gmail original folder.
AOL email would be usually in an Archive folder “directly under your email account” on the left as in this example eg: Outlook.com account
Or if you used Automatic Archiving those messages might be in an Archive folder in “Local Folders” at the bottom left of eM Client.
If you still can’t find it, click the Search Field at the top centre or top right depending on your eM Client version, and select “All Folders”. Then “type in a name” from the subject or body of those missing emails to find where they are as in the eM Client Search documentation links below.
