Adding a new email account. I have the specs from the email provider, but I cannot see where in em to add specific port numbers. For instance, I need to use port 465 for smtp and 993 for imap.
Hello Linda, you should be able to setup your account with most major providers using the auto discover by simply using your email address and password in the automatic setup, this feature will then connect to your domain try to find the auto discover preferences on your server for setting up your email account.
If you’re using some private hosting server, you can use the manual setup to specify the incoming and outgoing server addresses, but the ports will be setup automatically based on these settings with the server, and can only be adjusted in case of issues once the account is setup.
