What happens if the "Local Folders" section is deleted? Can it be deleted?

Wondering if it would cause chaos for the eM program is the “Local Folders” folder is deleted.  Thanks.

The Local Folders can’t be deleted from within eM Client. Sub-folders you create can be, but not the actual Local Folders folder, nor Inbox, Outbox, Sent, Trash, Drafts and Junk. If you delete them from outside of eM Client (not recommended) as soon as you start eM Client they will automatically be recreated as they are needed by the system.

They can be hidden though if you go to  Menu > Tools > Settings > General > Show Local Folders  and untick the option.
