Is there a way to set a notification alert from one one sender? I have notifications for emails turned off. To turn them off for all contacts except one seems cumbersome with a rule. I only want to be notified when I get an email from a particular sender.
I don’t understand. I’m not very familiar using “Rules”. I would have “except from people” and have to list all my Contacts but one?
No, the Rule means that notifications are disabled except from the people you mention.
So if you only want to receive notifications for messages from [email protected], and no one else, add that address to the people link in the Rule.
I’m not seeing what you are seeing. I select “Rules” , the “New Rule”. “Rule Wizard” pops up, but gives me templates or custom. Templates don’t apply and when selecting “Custom”, I am unable to type anything in the “Rule Preview” box. It doesn’t allow me to type in anything after that and I see nothing to to use to enter those words?
