Visual improvement: show total number of unread messages

I access 3 eMail-accounts with eMClient.
Since each of them has a list of folder, the list is too long to fit on the screen.
This is why if would like to collapse the view:

Problem: If new messages arrive, the number of unread messages is not shown.
Only after expanding the numbers are visible:

Suggestion: Please show the total number of unread messages in collapsed view:

It’s really annoying that such a simple feature hasn’t been implemented yet.
