violation of our license policy

Hello … I use em client for almost 5 years on my laptop, I reinstalled the software, for a problem with the server and then I received this message:i receve this mesage : this computer cannot be activated due to violation of our license policy. Please contact our sales department

You may have received an email from eM Client saying that they suspect you are using a Free License for business use.

If you are using eM Client for personal use only, then you need to reply to that email, and let them know. They will assist you further.

If you are using eM Client for business use (commercial, non-profit, education, etc) then you need to either purchase a Pro License, or uninstall the application.

i use em client for personal use, only on my computer
were to reply ?! I dont received any mail… the message apears when … i try to activate the software

Did you maybe use the same activation key on another computer?

yes, i did that… for a couple of days
I had some problems with the server and until I found out where the problem is, I relocated it to another laptop
what can I do ?

The Free License is only valid for one computer at a time, so you need to deactivate it on one computer before you activate it on another.

If it is still installed on the other computer, go to Menu > Help > License on that computer and click on deactivate. Then it will activate on the original computer without a problem.

it is not, I uninstalled it two days ago

If you want your original Free License deactivated, you will need to write to eM Client on the address you mentioned above, and they will do it for you. It may take some time.

The immediate solution is to register another Free License using a different email address and use that to activate the original computer.
