In Outlook Classic and Outlook Online, shared or delegated mailboxes are not displayed beneath the primary account but instead appear as separate mailboxes within the folder structure.
I find this approach significantly clearer and more organized. When delegated folders are additionally shown within the main mailbox, it creates a duplicated or nested folder structure that makes navigation unnecessarily complex. This becomes especially confusing when working with multiple shared mailboxes, as the structure quickly loses clarity.
From a user perspective, it would therefore be highly beneficial to have a configurable option: delegated mailboxes should be able to be displayed either beneath the primary account or as separate mailboxes, depending on user preference.
Providing this flexibility would improve usability and better accommodate different working styles.
