I noticed that attached images are downloading very slowly. For an 1,5MB image it takes 10-15 seconds to be fully displayed, compared to 2 seconds in other mail clients. I’m on a 50 MBit/s connection with a fast PC and SSD, so it’s definitely the client. Any idea?
Edit: This applies for any kind of attachment. I just downloaded a 500kb video, took about 15 seconds.
Hi, are you using “Download messages for offline use”? If not try to enable this option for your account in Tools > Accounts > IMAP, let me know if that helped.
eM Client is only downloading headers of messages in order to save space and decrease traffic, that might be why you’re seeing a difference between different clients.
