V8/9 too slow to load email (inbox/sent)

eM Client has been working quite well for me for months now.

Over the past two weeks, it has been taking way too long to open emails from my gmail work account. I wait about 10+ seconds even for email I just read to open again. It is super frustrating.

I deleted the account and re-added it again in v9, now my calendar entries do not show.

I deleted the account and re-added it again in v9, now my calendar entries do not show.

If your Google calendar is “showing events ok online” via a browser and “selected ok in eM Client” under your Gmail account, then could be it needs repairing in eM Client. Before repairing, make a backup via “Menu / Backup” in eM Client.

(To Repair Google Calendar in eM Client).

Click the Calendar icon at the bottom left of eM Client.

Then “Right click” your “Gmail Calendar” and “Click Properties” at the bottom

Next click the “Repair” tab at the top and finally click “Repair”. This will take time as eM Client has to rebuild the local calendar cache etc
